Introduction

This issue has been long delayed due to illnesses, other issues and life’s normal and not-so-normal interferences. In addition, there was an inordinate number of submissions, which, of course, means a triple number of poems to read.

Unfortunately, I was forced to select only 30, but I believe they are worth reading, including the six feature poets who have long been patient, and I thank them for that patience.

For this issue, which combines several issues, the number of poets and poems resulted in a daunting task for I had to cut off all submissions as of June 1, 2023 until next June (2024).

Many submissions I had to dismiss due to trying my best to get this issue out. Many were fine poems I might have used under different circumstances.  However, I finally completed the reading and thanks to our dauntless Webmaster, we were able to get his issue out.

There are some wonderful poets, in addition to the features. Each of them presents his/her own unique view in their poetics and I am sure you will enjoy them. I am keeping this introduction short so that you can spend time reading the wonderful poems.

Pull up a comfortable chair, sit back, relax and enjoy!

Enjoy,
